New Article Published in Biotechnology Letters

A new manuscript by Zurier, Hart, Napieralski, Henson, Banta, and Kucharzyk was published in Biotechnology Letters.  This manuscript describes the tolerance of acidophilic extremophiles in the the presence of the rare earth elements (REEs) which are more toxic for mesophiles such as E coli. These bacterial may represent useful chassis strains for the development of REE biomining and bioseparations capabilities.
