We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher with experience in protein engineering.
The candidate will work on a DoD-funded project that is part of a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team that is focused on the development of novel metal-binding proteins with high affinity and selectivity using a variety of techniques.
The candidate must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related field. Experience in molecular biology is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected. Experience in protein engineering is desired.
The candidate will be advised by Dr. Scott Banta in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Columbia University.
