New Funding from the Army Research Office

Professor Banta has received a 3-year award from the Army Research Office (ARO) entitled: "Modulation of Enzymatic Reaction Trajectories via Applied Mechanical Forces".  The goal of the project will be to explore the impact of small mechanical forces on the mechanistic steps of enzymatic biocatalysis, thus enabling a means to control alternative catalytic reaction trajectories.
