Two Presentations at the Annual SIMB Meeting

Professor Banta was a Co-Convener for the Extremophilic Enzymes session at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology in Chicago, IL.  He also presented an oral presentation entitled "Engineering the iron-oxidizing chemolithoautotroph Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans for biochemical production" and he also presented a poster entitled "Engineering the extremely thermostable alcohol dehydrogenase D (AdhD) from Pyrococcus furiosus for new applications"
