New Review Article Published in ACS Synthetic Biology

A new manuscript by Lim and Banta was published in ACS Synthetic Biology.  This review describes the development and use of noncanonical cofactors in the metabolic engineering of cells for enhancing functions and performance.  This can be a useful approach for isolating reactions from existing cellular machinery which can expand synthetic biology capabilities.
