New Paper Published in Current Opinion in Biotechnology

A new manuscript by Abdallah, Hong, Banta and Wheeldon describes how strategies used to attempt to introduce substrate channeling effects in synthetic enzymatic cascades can lead to catalytic benefits, however these enhanced activities can often be attributed to microenvironment effects as opposed to true substrate channeling mechanisms.  This article was published in Energy Biotechnology Issue of Current Opinion in Biotechnology.
