New Paper Published in ChemBioChem

A new manuscript by Abdallah, Chirino, Wheeldon and Banta describing the effects on the kinetic behavior that occur upon the fusion of supercharged green fluorescent proteins to an alcohol dehydrogenase was published in ChemBioChem. Surprisingly, the negatively charged protein fusion led to increases in activity that are consistent with an elevated ionic strength in the enzymatic microenvironment.
